New rigging and other projects

We've spent the week on the dock at FKG getting new rigging and doing a few other projects. FKG Dock Dangerously, the red building next door is the pub and restaurant "Lagoonies". Fortunately the red building next door also houses the sail loft where we stored our sails during the re-rigging project. In preparation for having the masts removed, we took off the sails & booms. We disconnected the wiring that runs down the mast and made preparations for the installation of a new wind generator. Dave working on the wiring While the masts were off we worked like navvies. Perigee Sailboat on You Tube

Perigee Sailboat joined the OCC Suzie Too Western Caribbean Rally in November 2018 with planned stops in Curacao, Aruba, Santa Marta, Cartagena, San Blas Islands, Colon, San Andres, Providencia, Honduras Bay Island and finishing in Belize. We are now in Panama City with the first reliable internet since leaving Cartagena, Colombia in early January. Perigee is currently at the Shelter Bay Marina where the internet is unfortunately nearly non-existent. We've come to Panama City to explore the old town but find ourselves catching up on the growing number of internet tasks instead. Perigee took on crew in Curacao until Cartagena. Stevo, the new crew turned out to be a dab hand at videography and editing and created 4 episodes for us during his 5 week stay.
